how do i change the order of the start up programs in windows vista?

i want my anti virus and firewall software to start first not last as my broadband is always on and when i boot my modem boots up first and connects to the net before my anti virus and firewall start leaving me open to the world

If you go to options in the program, there should be a selection with something similar to "run when windows starts".
