Wii Fit ; anyone having problems with the scoring on the Advanced Step program?

Having mastered the steps I was scoring very high at 590 ish. All of a sudden scores are going down to 350 ish and my steps are not registering as more than ok, rather than 'perfect'. Cant understand it. Nothing wrong with balance board and sensor in correct position.
