Default How long after a miscarriage or D&C did your period return?

I know doctors say it's usually 4-6 weeks, but how many weeks was it for you (counting the D&C or m/c as day one of that cycle)

I had a D&C 3.5 weeks ago. No signs of my period returning yet.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss!

I had a miscarriage where my doctor started to watch my hormones and they went down but then 3 days later they went back up a little bit. Three days later they would go down and three days later they went back up a little. The hormone counts never went back up as high as they were before so they still were going down overall, it just took 2 months for them to actually reach zero. I had the miscarriage in the middle of October at 6 weeks. It wasn't until after Christmas that I had my period again. It took a few times for it to get regular, too.
