i had a d&c on 25 aug and just stopped bleeding. i got a letter from the hospital today saying that the histology result did not show actual placental tissue and it is likely that i have some products retained inside me and to come back. i miscarried at 8 weeks has anyone had something happened like this to they and what happened? thank you who answers...
They will do an ultrasound on you and see how much tissue has been retained. If it is not much then they might just wait until you have your next period and see if it comes out then.
If there is a lot of tissue, then D&C will be repeated.
