good: positively ID someone--murdure victim, criminal, job applicant, find relatives (i.e. dead beat dads)

bad: you shed dna all the time, big chance for cross contamination
and in our great little country of the US-insurance companies will get their hands on it and decline health insurance if you have a cancer gene or something like that

i see this as a good thing i know some do not like the idea but i feel this will help in crime and therefore i all for this

the main motive of this is to have a unique identification of the person.it has another good advantage that for identifying a person they only need a small part of someones body part ie it may be a hair or a part of saliva.so it makes the easy to have identification. the dna cannot be copied or changed it is speciefic for one persion for its life time.
