Abbey National Bank Close my account?

Hello

Need some advice from someone who knows about banks.

I have a abbey national account, cash card (basic bank) account,

Now i am fed up with abbey as there customer service is useless,

anyway i want to close my account, but i have £8000 in my abbey account as i own my own business,

So if i was to go to the branch and close my account would i be able to close my account and get all my funds out of my account the same day as i go into close it or would i have to wait for the money for a certain amount of days???

We have to give a days notice to draw over a certain amount out but yes you could do it all in one day.
