Is it right that a bank could lend someone who earns £5,000 a year,...
...unsecured credit of £25,000? That is 5 times my income.
A certain bank lent me £20,000 personal loan
£3.000 credit card
£ 2.000 overdraft
my income consisted of student loans, a grant from the welsh assembly and a small amount of DLA.
I feel like I have been finacially abused by this bank, and would like to know what are the limits, surely there is some kind of law that forbids them to lend people too much money?
They keep on threatning me with court action, and when I say " bring it on" they don't wanno know. They want me to pay them £300 a month, that leaves me £72 a month to live on? I said that the max I could give them would be £20 and they say NO, I say ok then, lets go to court and let the judge decide how much I should pay you? they asked me if my parents could pay? I say NO, they then say I am being " unresonable"? I say I am being financially abused and harrased? I see my family solicitor when he gets back from hols, but surely the bank should not be so irresponsible?
I spent all my money and clothes, going out, books, etc. so I have nothing of value and I don't have my own home.
I was made homeless after the fuckers took a huge wedge from my account. I have proof that I stayed in a homelss hostel and was savvy enough to keep the reciepts of food parcels from the salvation army. surely that would go in my favour to the judge?
Bear= that is a absolutely ridiculous camparsion, banks have a LEGAL duty to lend responsibly Plus they prey on students. and other vunerable people. I don't know a student that is NOT in debt ( unless the parents help them) .
