when should i get my bank card and pin?

i got a letter off the bank on the 18 july saying that thanks for providing your document and now we are sending them back to you which was in the same envelope as this letter and we will contact you shortyly and then i went into the branch and paid a £1 into the account to activate it on 22 july but i have still not got my card or pin ? what would you sugest?
