LloydsTSB Bank charges?
I am being charged £20 as a Direct Debit was returned due to the amount of DD being £2.69 short, my wages were due to go in the following day as they do every month and i had £260 in my internet savings account. when I explained this I was told that charges could not be waived as I was overdrawn by 76p 9 months ago and charges were waived then and could not be waived again within 12 months.
I wrote to the manager and explained this and also informed him that I,m on a pretty tight budget, that I,d banked with LloydsTSB for over 20 years and that this was only the second time my account had been overdrawn. I recieved a very abrupt letter saying the charges would not be waived.
Is there anything I can do as £20 is quite a lot of money to me and I can think of a hundred things I could do with it other than pay it to LloydsTSB.
