Default Student finance wales????

Im going to study a full time course at a uni in england in september. Im 21 and have supported myself for the last few years. I recently destroyed all pay slips i had from my jobs, they will not provide copys of my p60s and i have contacted the tax office on several occasions and they say that they are unable to release the information to me bcoz of some new legeslation. Im really stuck, i dont know what to do. The date that the evidence was supposed to be in by has passed. I dont know what to do now and they dont believe ive been supporting myself. I live with my mother but she refuses to help fund me and therefore wont provide any financial details in support of my claim? Im scared im not going to be able to go to uni now, any advise on what i can do would be great, especially if you have been in a similar situation, thankyou.

I think that your mom is being unfair to you. She needs to help you in a situation like this especially when it comes to school. When I wanted to go to college my father told me tough luck supporting yourself through it b/c i'm not helping you. Unfortuanately for me I had to wait until i was considered independent to attend school. ; ) I went thru so many changes when it came to him I even attempted to indicate him as deceased just so that i could go school. : (

This is not going to be a lot of help because I don't know all the legal bits and bobs, but if you live in Wales and go to a Welsh Uni. you get help with funding. I don't know what you want to study, but to give you some idea look on the web site for Trinity College, Carmarthen. Studying in Wales will be cheaper than going over the border.
I don't know how old you are but I think that you get more of a grant if you are a mature student - over 25/6. That used to be the case anyway.
Couldn't you wait for another year and work and save?
Sorry, I did say that this wasn't going to be very helpful.
Good luck anyway.
