I doubt the bluetooth is "scrambled" -- more then likely the PS3 can't connect to more then 1 wireless device at a time. It would have to have 2 radios built into it.. a bluetooth receiver and a wifi receiver -- I don't think they have 2 radios.
So it is either Wireless internet OR Bluetooth.. not both.
Try wiping out the wireless internet settings and reconnecting the bluetooth and see if that works again.. if so, then it can only be connected to 1 wireless device at a time.
In this case.. run some cable to physically connect the PS3 to the internet connection and thus freeing up the Wireless radio for bluetooth.
