Default How do you recharge a mobile without using the charger connection port?

I have a Samsung E900 and the connection port for the recharger has broken. It would costs as much to fix it as a new phone so I am not going to pay to fix it, but it's only 6 months old. The warranty won't cover the repair. Is there any way of recharging the battery without using the broken connection port?
Samsung won't pay for the repair, they say it has been damaged. Not really very practical to charge it up via someone elses phone unless you live in the same house as them! Is there such thing as battery charger for mobile phones similar to those you can use for AA batteries etc? I don't think Billybean read the question properly..
Thanks for your answers, I have just worked out what to do. Found something called 'Twin Desktop Charger' which allows you to charge a spare battery.. hence can charge the battery outside of the phone and no need to use the broken port.. Thanks..
